i felt that

i’m moving out in a couple of days. four days to be exact. i texted my mom and asked if i could borrow the big suitcase that she keeps in her garage because i only have the pale mint green carry on she got me for our mother-daughter trip to europe. there is something that feels so embarrassing about packing up some of my things in a big oversized suitcase. would a few cardboard boxes feel less embarrassing? would it feel less humiliating? i’m not sure.
