I’m obsessed with the frozen green curry from trader joe’s — the chewiness from the yuba, the tender baby eggplant, the pops of coriander seed/thai basil/chili . . . such a satisfying meal!
my mom loves yuba! i need to try this curry. i feel like i haven't explored trader joe's frozen food as much as i should. i normally just stick with the above mentioned frozen orange chicken/vegetable fried rice/ frozen hashbrowns. i need to broaden out :) so thank you for this tip!
i think trader joe's produce is Just Okay too! however i am a perpetual banana buyer... there are some really amazing farmers markets in my area which i think is beautiful and lucky (i didn't know moving here) but the produce can sometimes be out of my price range, which often leaves me scrounging for something half-passable at tj's :')
it's amazing living in a city where farmer's markets (good ones at that) are abound. but i agree with you. sometimes running to trader joe's for produce at a cheaper price is a really handy option...even if it takes some sifting through a hundred avocados to find a semi-ripe one :)
