Really appreciating this because it feels very in sync with some things I've needed to hear and think about lately. Thank you for sharing. Especially appreciate the notes on grief and the soft scramble tips, because entering a new, quiet chapter of life has involved many mornings standing over the stove loving myself in the form of eggs.
Ty for this. Still processing fresh grief from a relationship, can feel overwhelming not knowing when the sad feeling will go but maybe it’s chronic that way. An interesting idea to shift my mind from trying to escape it to trying to live with it, though it’s scary to ponder settling into a feeling for too long. Funny enough one of my favorite things about him was how he made soft scrambled eggs so this piece is soothing in more ways than one :)
grief might always stick with us, just a little bit. but it's a reminder of something that once was and something that we loved and made us feel loved back. big hug to you.
